  • Funding Panel: Utah Grant & Angel Money for Tech Startups

    Learn how to get critical funding for your early-stage technology from the Utah TAP & TCIP Grant programs. (TAP=Technology Acceleration Program; TCIP=Technology Commercialization & Innovation Program).

    Each year, the State of Utah gives up to $5 million to early-stage tech startups to help develop and/or commercialize technology! You want to be one of them!

    You will also learn how to leverage the grants to receive investments from local angel groups.

  • IGDA Programming Planning Workshop

    Join IGDA SLC for our first workshop series to demystify game development. Are you an experenced game dev and just need a little guidance in branching out on your own? Do you know what questions you need to be asking yourself before you start building your own game?

    Come learn best practices for Programming Planning from Matt Dawson!

    Matt has over 25 years of experience as a programmer and Technical Director with Disney, Take Two, Microsoft, and others!

    There will be a presentation, with Q & A to follow. After that there will be some workshopping time and networking!

    We will be meeting at Access Salt Lake from 7-9 pm on Thursday April 12th.

    This is the second of five workshops that we have planned for 2018. The remaining workshops are as follows:
